It used to be that trophies and awards were the most important things for me and the main reason why I worked hard in being on top of everything. Last week, someone posted an ad in a reputable site where I often check new writing jobs out. It’s designed for Filipinos who are freelancers like me.

There was this George Goodman who posted a really nice ad promising of a lucrative writing position. He immediately replied to my application email and had me write 10 product reviews of 450 words in length. One of the product that I reviewed was about home theater system speakers. It was a test task to see if he will hire me for the position or not. He promised to pay 10 dollars each for the articles – therefore, he needs to pay me 100 dollars. Since, it was only a one day’s worth of work and he presented himself really professionally, I never thought he was a scammer.

After I submitted my work, nobody replied from his end. I didn’t hear from him anymore. I never emailed him more or ask for an explanation. I knew what happened. He was a person who post ads and use the article samples sent to him. He was a certified scammer.

I don’t want to have anything to do with him or those people who are like him. But, I know that God will punish him for his doings.

I love the internet because of the fact that you can find almost anything you need through it. It is highly accessible and it makes researching so much fun and easier.
Before, when you need to look up for something, you have to tediously go to the library or ask friends to get information, but these days, all you need to do is to “GOOGLE” the word up.

The internet is surely a reliable source of information. One time my grandfather had me looking for cheap acid cigars and I was able to easily find it for him. He was amazed with my internet skills and amazed of the power of the internet. That’s only one of the main reasons why I so love the internet.

I am fascinated by new things each and every day. I really love finding out new things which can help me improve my life. I love equipment like those that promote health and well-being. I also love new ideas and books that have something to do with self-development.
I recently heard about these water softeners recently available to the market. I am off to doing more research about these and if I will be convinced enough, I might get myself to buy these for myself and my family.

It’s Very Cold Where We Live
Before I came to Bohol to join my husband and child who already went ahead so that the house can be fixed, my husband already warned me of the cold weather, especially at night. True to his words, I was amazed in how cold our place in Bohol can really be.
At night, a comforter would be of great help to minimize the coldness of the night. An infrared heater would definitely be helpful as well.
We’ve been staying here for almost 2 months already and I actually like the weather in general. The back of our house has a mini forest; which I think is the reason for the coldness. My baby still smells good at the end of every day and we don’t need an aircon as well.

I have been planning to get a life insurance for my family. I am the main breadwinner and eventhough I know that my husband is capable of working in case something happens to me; I want to ensure that my family will have a good life even when I am gone.
Life is uncertain. That’s for sure. I want to live a really long life but you know how it goes – we don’t get to choose things.
When I do have enough money I’ll see to it that I compare life insurance quotes before signing up for one.

Since my work is tied to the computer and to a chair, I usually experience back pain. That’s why, I chose a plastic chair where I can lean my back on. It’s better because I can just lean on when I get tired working on the computer.
When I do have enough money, I hope to be able to buy something similar to those of Adirondack chairs. They could be a little expensive than regular chairs of course but the quality is good and it will surely last for a long time.

I am glad that I have been greatly exposed to the internet. Most of the things I learned in life came from the internet in the past few years. When I was working, the internet kept me busy during lazy hours. I kept searching for new things and it really helped me a lot.

I am planning to buy a game console such as a ps3 slimline for our family. I’m sure my husband would love to play great games in it. Even I, am a fan of games since I was young. There are days when we have nothing to do and I think playing games would be a great bonding time which will allow us to harness our intelligence and to have fun in the process.
I love playing games online but my internet connection is yet so slow here in the province and it’s not just possible.
