Time, Hours, Seconds
Hey, thats me in yellow with a black jacket. I am now a day shift agent, and I love it. There are a lot of advantages now that my schedule has been arranged. I actually requested for it, from our supervisor, since I’m really not fit for a night shift schedule. Work is fun, even at night, we take pictures, we talk if there are no calls, we surf the internet and do our own stuff. In short, there is freedom.
What I don’t like about being on night shift, is that my cycle is abnormal. I sleep in the morning, which has been pretty hard for me. Our place is surrounded my a lot of houses, and people are very noisy. People love to sing karaoke, all the time. While I sleep, there are about 5 karaokes in full speaker all over the neighborhood. Yeah, the filipino culture and spirit. People most of the time do things that they love to do only. Fun, enjoyment and recreation. And we wonder why we remain poor. Well, I can’t blame them. Some times, its the way you were raised. It depends on the environment where you grew up.
I’m just wondering if people will only spend their time in a more productive way. Instead of watching tv all day, singing on the karaoke, playing volleyball, and roaming around the street, which is what I see most of my neighbors do specially at noon, why don’t people use it to produce money. Business? sell something? perhaps. If only people will learn to value time more, people will not have problems reaching their financial dreams. Wishing is not enough. We need to act and do something.
It is okay to have fun and enjoy some times. But to do it, most of the time, and do less of productive works, is a fatal mistake that most people squander into. Then at the end of their lives, they wonder, what have I done with my life? and they realize, nothing really much meaningful.
I too, have my own struggle of time management and issues with procrastination. But, I am aware of it, and I try my best to improve myself every single day. I’m far from my ideal, but yes…it will come soon. Along with persistence, and discipline I can achieve my dreams in life. Don’t waste time, for every single second we spend here on earth is gold. It can either create the life you wanted, or keep you away from it. Don’t just let fate take over your life.
We shall never forget, that we are here to strive for excellence and to strive to improve ourselves and keep pushing. Life is full of lessons to learn, as long as we are eager to stop and think about what’s happening in our lives. Do you value time? or are you wasting it for nothing?
