I’ve always dreamed to have my own laptop. Ever since I was in high school I wanted to have one. My fascination to the internet is one of the reasons why I wanted to have a laptop. But, the greatness of the device itself is the main reason why. I wanted to be able to use internet anywhere anytime I want to. It took very long for me to finally have it. Oftentimes, I would dream or imagine about it. I can remember the warm feelings I get everytime I would imagine to have one.

Nowadays I not only dream of it but I really believe that I needed it. As a blogger it is always wise to have a fast computer and an efficient machine that can help you achieve the results you want. Now, I can level up my money making  journey online plus I can also enjoy connecting more with others. I am so happy when I finally had my laptop. I can’t get enough of it. Now, I have a friend when it comes to my blogging life. It’s even awesome like those POS systems I see in supermarkets.

Here are my favorite foods. I’m not a food lover, but these are foods that really entice me and it wont matter whether my appetite at that moment is good or bad, as long as I have these foods. I just love these foods, and I can eat them over and over again. I can hardly think of anything more to add, but surely, some will be coming in so I want to add them here probably in the future. I might be able to add 10 more, if lucky.  I think I need to venture foods more. Pizza is not on my list. I don’t know why, but I’m not so much of a pizza lover, whereas a lot of people are soooo addicted to it. This list is not from 1-10. All of them are equal, okay?

I love Jolly Hotdog. I love the cheese, and the way it combines to the taste of hotdog and ketchup.  I can’t get enough of this, and I like ordering this in Jollibee.

Spaghetti. Everyone’s fave? I guess so. Though, it is very common in occasions such as birthdays and fiestas, we never get tired eating it over and over again because it is just so delicious.

If Jolly Hotdog is my fave in Jollibee, of course I also have a favorite in Mcdonalds, and thats the Sundae Hot Fudge.  This is one of my favorite treat to myself, specially during hard days at work.

Cooked Banana. If you want a snack which is health, affordable and delicious all together, go for the delicious cooked banana. I love it when its so ripe and it taste so good. It taste very good when it is hot, though it could get stiff or less appealing when it is cold.

Santol. One of my ever favorite fruits, santol. Evey time it is in season, I don’t forget to buy this fruit. Outside malls and in dirty markets, I don’t forget to bring a baon of santol. I usually buy the big and the ripe ones. The seeds are very delicious. I could droll just looking at them right now.

Fried Rice. Whew, I love this, specially depending on how it is cooked. I love it cooked with corned beef, cheese, peas, egg, garlic and anything you could think of putting in here. I love fried rice, and it really improves my appetite.

I can’t resist cakes. Though, it woudn’t be good if you take a lot of it plus it gets too sweet that you can’t bare it, I love taking it in minimum every now and then. Every time our work cafeteria would sell this, I can’t resist but buy myself a slice of it.

Ice Cream. I love ice cream so much. I love to buy big gallons and store them in our ref. But, it becomes liquid when you store it and you already opened it. So, better to take it in small amounts. Buy only those you can finish up unless there are many of you who will it. My favorite flavor? Chocolate.

Fruit Salad. I love making fruit salads myself. I always make the canned ones or the ready made fiesta fruit combinations which you can buy in groceries and supermarkets. But, I just discovered that ripe fruits which are fresh is way much better than the commercialized ones. I haven’t tried making one yet, but my mom said so.

Mango Float. This is enjoyable and easy to make, but it just tastes so good. I love mango, but its best when combined with Graham biscuits and crackers, then add cream and it becomes heaven.

My love communication channel is usually through gifts, surprises and letters. These are ways for me to show my love to someone and for me to think that I am appreciated and valued by someone. Of course, there are also other ways such as quality time and appreciation, among others.

Mothers day passed by. I went to work as usual, and arrived home tired, but when I received and read this letter which came from my husband (knowing that he works from 6 am to 10 pm almost daily, except Sundays, and during that day he is half day at church as well while i am at work), my tiredness just disappeared and my heart was filled by gladness. It has been few months ago since his last letter to me, because of our busy lives. I was so happy cause these are words not taken from research or any book of poems, but he personally wrote this. So filled with love and appreciation, thats just what every woman would ever need from a husband.

Truly, small but greatly valued gifts like these, make me go on and make me strong despite all the difficulties of a family woman. Honestly, I am still learning and I’m really trying to be a good mother and wife. I really didn’t know I was this practical, wise and strong until I finally came to handle all of these responsibilities. I don’t know where i am getting all the strengths.

Though, not easy, having a family is truly one of the best fulfillment a woman can ever have. Something that you cannot find in a career no matter how successful it is. I love my life and I hope to have more years with my loving husband, together with our cute and lovable child. I will be carrying these notes of love wheever I go. It will always be in my heart.

The Letter

Hon, Happy Mothers day. Ginawa ko ito para masabi ko sayo at malaman mo ang pagka ina mo. Hon, maraming salamat na wala kang katulad na ina, your the best mom. Ikaw, ang ina na ginawa ang lahat para sa anak at sa buong pamilya. Para maging maganda, masaya, kumportable ang buhay. Iniisip ang lahat para hindi mahirapan sa buhay. Kaya your the best.

Alam mo hon, dahil sayo ang buhay natin naging maluwag, naging masaya at hindi magulo. Marunong ka talagang magdala ng pamilya kaya siguro nagkapamilya ka nang maaga dahil alam mo na ang buhay may pamilya. Kaya salamat sa mga pag alaga mo sa akin, sa pag-unawa, kahit minsan parang hindi mo na maintindihan pinilit mong intindihin. There are times that we grab opportunities thinking it will solve everything and lead us to where we want. But, if we are not careful, these decisions could get us out of track in our lives. Just a couple of weeks I have been presented an opportunity to earn money. I got a part time job as a rewriter, though salary is not as high in blogging, and though you have to work hard, the good thing is you are paid for in a regular basis. So I was so earger about it. After work, I rest for a while, or sleep for an hour, then start working on my part time. I have to write up to 10 rewrites daily from monday to friday. So, I work from 5 am to 2 pm, go back home, work on rewriting till around 11:00 pm up to 1:00 am, get few hours of sleep then work at 5 am again. I tried to solve this by hiring rewriters. Even if price is low, people were so interested in them. But, I only got into trouble. There were people who were unreliable. People who wouldn’t submit on deadlines, so I end up doing it by myself. People who do it, but with low quality, and there was one who was reliable and has good quality writing.

But it didn’t really help as I had to double check everything and do a series of checking first, so I still had to spend time in front of the laptop. I soon realized I was missing on a lot of things. I had no time for myself, no time to spend with my baby, and less time for taking care of my hubby too. No time at all, except work…work…work. I hated it, by i wanted so much to earn and save money.

I made some meditation, and realized all the wrong decisions. Actually, if I hadn’t been stressed that I caused a quarrel and strain in my relationship with my hubby, I wouldn’t wake up. I would have still blindly go for money, sacrificing relationships, my health, my free time, and all else, including my relationship with God. So, I had to wake up and realize that there’s more to life, than money and wealth. There’s just more to it, and to think I already have so many many blessings in my life right now. I pray that God will consistently guide me in my journey as a wife, a mother, a daughter, and a servant. Without him, I wouldn’t be able to choose the right path for myself.

One of me and my hubby’s dream is to stay in a nice hotel some time. Just the two of us. Yes, only us. Without any other distraction or whatsoever. We want to experience being together in such a cozy and nice place. For now, it is just wishful thinking to have an escape probably in high standard hotels with a very nice bedroom. I would love to be with him in that kind of place, giving him my full attention and love. It is but wishful thinking experience extended stay hotels, outside the country and get to roam in all the most beautiful places in the world. Disneyland, Great Wall of China, Niagara Falls in Canada and many many more. Lying on the beach to watch the sunset, and to wake up at dawn to await for the sunrise. What a great place that would be, with the right person. For now, anywhere will do as long as I’m with him. That’s all that matters.

I am wondering sometimes, how come it is so hard sometimes to follow your dreams, goals and what you really want out of life? Why are there so many tests and difficulties before you get the sweet fruit of success? Is life really just like that? I often wonder why some people get it without difficulty. Like, it just comes to them, with no effort.
For me, it has really been a struggle. It has been a struggle in a lot of things, though I am not complaining nor am I giving up? Perhaps, its just because you can’t have everything?
Maybe. Or perhaps, this is just all a test. A test to help me grow and to prune my character and strength. A test I need to endure and survive. I sometimes wish that life is as easy as finding an unlocked phone. Perhaps, we could all spend our lives enjoying and having fun. Funny!
Every day, I am working on improving our lives. It has been slow and gradual. Slowly but surely, and I guess that’s better than an instant success that you cannot really appreciate very well.

I just want to capture the comments from our QA, since its very positive and I don’t want to miss it. I’ve been getting 100 % always, but I decided to take note of it and record it starting now, so I won’t forget it and it will make me more confident and happy about my job.

I have 2 active blogs right now. I think I have 5 more which are not active. These are blogs which are not earning money yet. And blogs, I don’t have time to update yet. Now, I am working on another blog. Hopefully, this will be a success just like the other two. This is another milestone in my blogging journey. Another thing to work on. Another thing to keep me busy. That’s a good thing. I am really focused right now, in saving more money to establish our dream business, hopefully early next year.By the way, I don’t like you to copy paste my works or writings in any of your blogs.
