Rules of Love and Marriage

other married couples and reflect on it.
An African proverb states,
“Before you get married, keep both eyes open,
and after you marry,
close one eye.”
Before you get involved and make a commitment to someone,
don’t let lust, desperation, immaturity,
ignorance, pressure from others or a low
self-esteem, make you blind to warning signs.
Keep your eyes open,
and don’t fool yourself that you can change someone
or that what you see as faults aren’t really important.
Once you decide to commit to someone,
Over time his or her flaws, vulnerabilities, pet peeves,
And differences will become more obvious.
If you love your mate and want the relationship to grow and evolve,
you’ve got to learn to close one eye
and not let every little thing bother you.
You and your mate have many different expectations,
emotional needs, values, dreams, weaknesses,
and strengths.
You are two unique individual children of God
who have decided to share a life together.
Neither of you are perfect, but are you perfect for each other?
Do you bring out the best in each other?
Do you compliment and compromise with each other,
or do you compete, compare, and control?
What do you bring to the relationship?
Do you bring past relationships, past hurt, past mistrust,
Past pain?
You can’t take someone to the altar to alter him or her.
You can’t make someone love you or
make someone stay.
If you develop self-esteem, spiritual discernment,
and “a life”, you won’t find yourself making
someone else responsible for your happiness or
responsible for your pain.
Manipulation, control, jealousy, neediness, and
selfishness are not the ingredients of a thriving,
healthy, loving and lasting relationship.
Seeking status, sex, wealth, and security
are the wrong reasons to be in a relationship.
What keeps a relationship strong?
Communication, intimacy, trust, a sense of humor,
sharing household tasks, some getaway time
without business or children and daily exchanges
(a meal, shared activity, a hug, a call, a touch, a
note).
Leave a nice message on the voice mail or send a
nice email.
Sharing common goals and interests.
Growth is important.
Grow together, not away from each other,
giving each other space to grow without feeling insecure.
Allow your mate to have outside interest.
You can’t always be together.
Give each other a sense of belonging and assurances of commitment.
Don’t try to control one another.
Learn each other’s family situation.
Respect his or her parents regardless.
Don’t put pressure on each other for material goods.
Remember for richer or for poorer.
If these qualities are missing,
the relationship will erode as resentment, withdrawal, abuse, neglect,
dishonesty, and pain replace the passion.

Balancing Work & Family Life
The life of a mother, specially that of a working mom is more than just challenging. Even I, as a mother and wife for more than 3 years, is still having difficulty achieving balance in everything that I do. Basically, the main reason why most mothers resort to anti aging products as their best friend in life. Life is short as they say. And as for me, I wanted to do many many things. Things that I love to do, things that I am passionate about. I couldn’t believe how I am able to manage running the house, having a full time job, taking care of my baby, running a mini store, taking care of my husband and running multiple blogs online. I even do side writing jobs. Some days are great, some days are just crazy. It’s all about how I manage it. I mean, there’s always the same amount of hours everyday. But the factor that spells out everything and can make a big difference is how we manage ourselves. Whenever I come across articles and blog posts that talks about how to manage one’s time efficiently, I couldn’t help myself but read it until its finished. With so many interruptions and new technologies nowadays, everyday could really be a challenged. I couldn’t even imagine, how I was able to dream about going back to school few months ago while juggling work and my responsibilities at home. But, that can wait. Yeah! I wanted to graduate college, but I’m not a superwoman. I am already a very busy mom and I just can’t add any more responsibilities to my long list of things to do. So, my secret to staying sane every day is to have a time for myself and to unwind. Have some time just to clear my mind and forget about worries and responsibilities. That’s my most favorite part of every day. (Oh no! You got me wrong. It doesn’t mean I hate my responsibilities or the things I do for my family) I love them with all my heart and they are my motivation for doing all of these things. But still, I am a human needing space and time for herself……Give me a break…….
Kahit Isang Saglit – Best Teleseries Ever!
This is the best teleseries ever made locally. It is really great, as in great great great. Great team up, great spots and scenes, great actors, great story. Everything about it is inspiring, lovable, romantic and so real.
I don’t regret watching the teleseries over. I think, in one sitting, you can watch it for a whole day, 24 hours or more. Once I started watching it, I couldn’t stop. Every scene is breathtaking. Every scene is unforgettable. This teleseries is a masterpiece. And I don’t regret paying for my subscription service at TFC online and only being able to watch this teleseries, even if I wasn’t able to watch the others.
I would like to get a DVD copy of this someday and watch it over and over and over and over and over again. I would like to share it to other people as well, so they will know the real meaning of love.
I love Carmen Soo so much. She is indeed a true role model for every woman. She is not from our country, but she acts as if she’s a dalagang filipina. I love her.

Never in my life that I watch soap opera/teleserye. I always say that it is just a waste of time. However, when I start watching ” KAHIT ISANG SAGLIT ” I am enjoying it very much. I am hoping this teleserye will not have an ending because everyafternoon Jericho Rosales and Carmen Soo have been part of my life. They are both good actor/actress and are also both good looking..I am just hoping that there will more teleserye or movies for Jericho and Carmen in the future. KIS is a very nice love story but it will be a much better love story if there is no crime involves.

I’m Reaping D’ Benefits Of Sleeping Early
I would say that my effort to sleep early is really paying off. I couldn’t say I have made my aim perfect. I still wanted to sleep earlier than the time I am sleeping by now, and I also wanted to rise earlier and to leave work earlier.So, far, I can notice the impact and the big difference this early sleeping is giving me. Few days from the time I have started it, I can already notice the big difference this slight change can make.
This system is really great. I am more alert at work, and I’m not that distracted and sleepy. I can provide a better quality of work as I am not tired and sleepy unlike before.With this, I have a great reason to continue this habit of sleeping early in a strict manner, not just when I feel like I am already as tired as out of this work, before I start heading on to sleep.
One time, this guy with hid kits commented that I am very absent minded cause I borrowed a cd from video city, and I almost forget getting the cd and just headed straight home. I have so many instances like that. When I pay for something, I would just go away without getting it, and the cashier has to call me out…hmmmm, not a good one, right? these are already warning signs.
I am planning to read more on the benefits of sleeping early, as to make me more motivated to continue. When you have a reason for doing something, it becomes easier. And even if its hard, you can still do it.As of now, I am working on improving my sleeping time by one hour earlier. Just one hour more. And, waking up 30 minutes earlier and leaving home 30 minutes earlier.
Whew, this might some alarming to me, but I know I can do it.
Which Is Better: Ebay.ph or Auction.ph?
I’ve made some researches and found out that the greatest competitor of ebay would be auction. I’ve checked on it to see if its better or the same with ebay when it comes to convenience and the affordability of the items for sale. I like the site, it looks neat and easy to navigate however Auction.ph have a collection of more expensive items. I also don’t like the fact that most pictures are photo shopped pictures and not the actual pictures of the item.
One thing you need to remember in buying items online, specially with clothes. Don’t go for items that have very nice photos but are not the actual item. There are items which have pictures of brochures which appear to be very nice and appealing of course. This will only disappoint you. Make sure you buy those items that have real photos on them so you can make the best decision on your purchase. That’s what I aim to do on my own business too. Provide real pictures of the products so buyers can have the correct expectation.
There are a lot of items here which are being sold such as the Solo Slim, which helps women get their desired body weight. There are clothes, gadgets, toys for children, and a lot more. Looks like a promising site to me. I can see most of the clothes are free of shipping charge. Hmmmm, let me check further into this, and see if I will be interested in selling here too.
Make Today Count
Many people enjoy using the first few minutes of the day for their reflective time. How did yesterday go? What do you want to accomplish today? What will be most important? This, of course, becomes your prioritized to-do list. How will today vary from your usual routine? Can you think of any small things that you can do?
Perhaps there is something that you’ve been avoiding, that, if you do it, would make you feel especially proud of yourself. Give each day a specific purpose. For unsuccessful, unhappy people, there is often a sameness to their days. Is it Monday or Thursday? Is it March or November? Is it 3 o’clock in the afternoon or 10 o’clock in
the morning? They’re in a rut and it doesn’t matter. Everybody has the same amount of time each day. How are you going to spend your 24 hours? Plan in advance. Make lists. Lists are your road map to personal accomplishment and balanced living. Always carry paper and pen. What are you doing today to ensure a better tomorrow for yourself and your family?

The Chronicles of Narnia; The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe
This is one of my movie collection. I have a total of 10 movies now. I plan to collect lots of them, cause someday If I already have an internet cafe, i will also rent out the movie cd’s that I have. I bought this cd in SM cebu, while I was also shopping for discount lingerie . I have watched the second part of this, which is The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian;. It was so great, even if I haven’t seen the first movie yet.

Just A Dream For Now
One of me and my hubby’s dream is to stay in a nice hotel some time. Just the two of us. Yes, only us. Without any other distraction or whatsoever. We want to experience being together in such a cozy and nice place. For now, it is just wishful thinking to have an escape probably in high standard hotels with a very nice bedroom. I would love to be with him in that kind of place, giving him my full attention and love. It is but wishful thinking experience extended stay hotels, outside the country and get to roam in all the most beautiful places in the world. Disneyland, Great Wall of China, Niagara Falls in Canada and many many more. Lying on the beach to watch the sunset, and to wake up at dawn to await for the sunrise. What a great place that would be, with the right person. For now, anywhere will do as long as I’m with him. 
That’s all that matters.
Steps To Taking Better Care Of Myself: My Eyesight
The eyes serve us a lot in many ways, than we ever give credit it for. Sometimes, we think it has been with us since birth and will be with us forever. Wrong notion. Just like any other body part, it has to be taken cared of.
I realize how dangerous my job can be. I am exposed to the computer 9 hours per day, 5 days a week. To add to that, is my browsing while at home, so I can update and maintain my multiple blogs.
For so long, I have neglected it. And thought I was okay. I never had much of headaches and pains anyway. But, when I saw an advertisement and explanation in rated K, about Optein, a supplement that helps replenish our supply of natural lutein, which helps keep our eyesight clear, I was scared. According to the ad, frequent exposures to computers, tv, cellphones can cause eye damage, which will not really show immediately. It could show up in the latter years.
I want to make sure I am taking proper measures of prevention, because I believe that our eyes are very important. I don’t get to eat vegetables always, as to my hectic schedule and busy work life. So, I really need this supplement, to protect my eyes from the harmful effects of too much computer exposure.
I am heading to the pharmacy after work, to inquire about the price and to buy the supplement.
Buying A Refrigerator Today
We will be buying a refrigerator today. We decided to buy one, so we can use it for some extra money. We are planning to start selling ice candy which needs refrigerator. We will also sell fish, to the neighborhood. Plus, we can add softdrinks now on our little store, so that will mean additional income. Plus, we would be selling barbecue. We need a refrigerator for that too, so we can preserve the meat. We are really thinking of increasing our income right now, and not just spend and spend. We have save enough for this, and hopefully it will be a success. We are taking some risk, and we are placing our trust in God that everything will be a success.
We will be heading to Colon, right after my duty. The last time we went there to the appliances store was to buy a new television, and now we would be heading back there cause the last time I inquired their refrigetator was nice and affordable, so we would like to buy from there so we can save money instead of buying from department stores like SM. But before that, I need to google a toll free number of the store so I can ask for some details first.
