Eat, Pray, Love

eat-pray-love-movie

The economy has still no recovered nowadays. In fact, Outer Banks foreclosures are still rampant. That’s why, I am thankful that I do have a job that supports our family life. I am grateful that we don’t have big money problems; however, I am not sold out to the idea of working forever. My job takes me away from home 9 hours every day Monday to Friday. While, I am really greatful that my job allows me to take 2 days off in a week, while most jobs only have one, I still cannot help but dream of working from home some day. I’d like to be a hands on mom by then. I’d like to be free from the slavery of doing something which you are not really that passionate about.

The movie Eat, Pray, Love starring Julia Roberts, made me realize that life is indeed too short to waste it all on work that you are not passionate about. There should be more to life than waking up so early to catch up on work and go home late only to have very little energy left for your family and loved ones and for other hobby or activities that make you very passionate and fulfilled.

My New Baby

computer

I’ve always dreamed to have my own laptop. Ever since I was in high school I wanted to have one. My fascination to the internet is one of the reasons why I wanted to have a laptop. But, the greatness of the device itself is the main reason why. I wanted to be able to use internet anywhere anytime I want to. It took very long for me to finally have it. Oftentimes, I would dream or imagine about it. I can remember the warm feelings I get everytime I would imagine to have one.

Nowadays I not only dream of it but I really believe that I needed it. As a blogger it is always wise to have a fast computer and an efficient machine that can help you achieve the results you want. Now, I can level up my money making  journey online plus I can also enjoy connecting more with others. I am so happy when I finally had my laptop. I can’t get enough of it. Now, I have a friend when it comes to my blogging life. It’s even awesome like those POS systems I see in supermarkets.

Synopsis: Carl Allen has stumbled acrodd a way to shake free of post-divorce blues and a dead-end job, working on a custom software or anything boring: embrace life and say yes to everything. Working every funny bone in his nimble body and every muscle in his hilariously mobile face, Jim Carrey plays Carl in a Yescapade about opening up to life’s possibilities – espcially when those possibilities include romance with an intriguing, free-spirited musician (Zooey Deschanel). From the director of Bring It On and The Break Up comes an invitation to discover the comedy power of yes.

Mother & Child

Photo: taken by Sheila (my babysitter) during our outing for my honey’s 23rd bday. baby looks irritated that we’re asking her to smile cause she is busy tinkering on the sand w/ a spoon. :) hehe

I love to spend time with my little one. Time is so fast, and as a working mom like me, there are times that I get shocked by how fast it does, and how fast my little child is growing. Sometimes, I envy those who are able to stay at home and spend every minute of each day with their child. Reading textbooks to them, playing with them, going places with them and doing silly and fun things with them. But, if you think about it, what I am doing is for my child. Anyways, I am already saving up so i can afford to stop working someday. It might take me more than 2 years or so, cause I need a quiet bigger amount of money. We have lots of plans. Once I have the money to stop working, I will start a business and manage it. I will also be working online and be a work at home mom to take care of my beloved husband and cute little one while my husband works in a full time job. I want to really see her grow and to take care of her. If God permits, after that time, we want to have our own house and lot too. We praise God for every little thing he is doing to our family. He is our anchor and our strength. He is the center of our relationship and the reason why we remain strong.
