Few blogs capture my attention. Those authors living fun, authentic and inspiring lives are usually the ones that capture me and I just couldn’t help  but keep coming back to their blogs. And today, I just discovered another great blog. I couldn’t find out who the author is, as there was no indication anywhere. Healthy Living Tips captured me because I learned a lot from it. As a young adult, turning 24 August this year, I am beginning to see the value of health more clearly than ever before. I am starting to take small steps towards living a happy and healthy lifestyle. Sure, it is so easy to take our health for granted and just go around the business of each single day doing tasks and projects and forgetting the needs of our bodies.

I highly suggest that you come visit the site and read the contents. You can find a lot of relevant articles. The author teaches us the importance of living a healthy lifestyle,  taking a break once and a while,  handling stress and pressures from work and obligations, living a balanced life, and being conscious of our daily habits that will have long term effects in our bodies. I love her suggestions and ideas and how simple she constructed them so everyone can relate. I’ll surely keep coming back to this site every now and then so I won’t forget that I need to take care of my body. This is my life and I owe to myself to be as healthy as I could.

Today my one goal is to go to the mall andreplace the dvd player with 300 plus games we bought yesterday. The dvd was not working okay. So, I need to go to the mall and have it replaced. I am planning to start a small business. I will have kids play computer games in our tv with the dvd player with games on it for only 1 peso per five minutes. That’s really cheap right? The house that we are renting is a very good spot for doing some small businesses such as selling. That’s why we have our sari-sari store. I’m hoping to finally get the working dvd player with games on it so I can start on this venture.

We’ve been waiting for the package sent by my sister from the New York, and finally it arrived after 2 months. There are still 2 big boxes to come but she said she hasn’t delivered them yet. This is the 2nd box she sent us. The first one was sent around last year. I am lucky for having such a generous sister. No wonder she’s blessed.I had to pick it up from Mandaue Time Republic forwarders. I paid almost 300 for the taxi back and forth our place. I also paid 2 of our boys neighbor to help me in transporting it from the road to our house. Sheila was also there to assist me.

We had a hard time locating their office and they were almost closing down when we arrived. Good thing, we came just in time. We were all so excited in checking out the items inside. I knew, my sister picked them so well and she chose the things that will really be of value to us. There were many many many kisses chocolates and other candies. As a result, our refrigerator is pregnant right now and is bulging a lot. I already gave some to my office mates when I arrived. There were 21 pieces of encyclopedia which my sister asked me to sell so I could keep the money. It was given by my uncle living in New York. However, I will not be selling it because me and my mom feel like we need to keep it so once we already have a house, we will be placing it in a book divider for my collection.

We are still making decisions right now. One of our options is to get a new house but there’s another plan which we might put first. My hubby will be applying abroad. We haven’t made any fix decisions yet, but I am sure, God will be there to guide us on what’s the best decision. I already checked the prices of the house, and the one nearest to where I work is quiet expensive. It’s more than a million. That’s quiet too much. We just need a simple brand new house, not something of luxury. But, I guess it’s how it is  because this is the city and we’re not somewhere in the province where everything is cheap. Anyway, let’s see what will happen next.

There were also gifts with names on them. I got a special pink wallet. I guess, I will be switching to a new wallet now. My wallet was bought only from Broadway but it lasted for almost 4 years already. I will surely be missing it if ever I will switch. There were also blouses and shirts. My baby had toys, few clothes since the rest will be in the second box, and she had a new white sandal shoes which is very elegant and nice. My hubby had a cap and a shirt.

I so love the goodies in there. There were fruit like goodies which are preserved. You know….the kind of things in America. Most of al, I love the canned peaches. I so longed to eat peaches but I don’t buy it because its quiet expensive. Good thing, she gave us 5 of them. I am so excited to eat them. There were also lots of big boxes of iced tea and oatmeal. We really had fun yesterday. I wasn’t tired and I even slept late because of it. Our house is a little messed up right now and I am hoping to tidy everything up later today or tomorrow, my day off. I only have one thing to worry after all the chocolate eating………..my tooth…Ewwww! Goodluck to me. Thanks to my sister Fritzie…Love you sis! Sorry peeps as I lost one of the chargeable of our camera, so I wasn’t able to take some photo. I’ll try to locate it later so I can take a picture of some of the goodies.

My co office worker is dealer of Avon and since then, I’ve been a regular customer of her. Avon is such a trusted brand that it’s one of the brands I really really depend compared to any other expensive brand. Their products are made of high quality that you could never go wrong. I buy products like underwear and intimate apparel, make up such as foundation, lipstick, blush on etc. I also love their personally made products every now and then such as their back supporter that corrects a person’s posture. It’s very affordable, I guess, it was more than 300 pesos only. If they have uppababy vista, i would surely buy from them because I will be guaranteed of the high quality of the product and I don’t have to worry if it will be demaged in a few months or so.

While reading some accutane reviews, I stumbled on animetric’s site and learned she’s having an anniversary contest where she’s giving away her favorite things. Her prizes are really great things, but the one I wanted to have is the neutrogena wave starter kit. It’s been quiet a while since I desired to have it. I first read it in Jennie’s blog and I figured out it would really be perfect to clear out my face and cleanse it well every day after putting on some powder and foundation on it daily. But, I am hesitant to join because there are a lot of entries already and I wonder if she would ever pick me up as a winner. I still have to decide whether I want to join or not.

The responsibilities of a woman nowadays are so vast and heavy that a lot of women are suffering from stress and other related diseases. It is not easy to be a woman. We are expected to perform in all areas of our lives. We are expected to work to help the family financially. We are expected to be great moms. But, the hardest part yet the most rewarding, is we are expecte to be great wives. Our hands are always full in most days. We wanted to stop, pause, relax, take a break and rest even for a minutes of our every day, but most of the time we cannot afford to do so. The baby is crying and wanting our attention. Then, there’s deadlines in our writing projects in our blogs. And here comes our husband who just came from work and very much needing our care and attention. All of these, we have to do as perfectly as we could. Some mothers/wives don’t even need best weight loss supplements to get slimmer. Well, only two things happen. They don’t get to take care of themselves anymore and they end up swelling with all those bulges or they end up losing weight from all the stress. I know every woman can relate, but still…. there’s nothing else more rewarding than being a woman. The things we do, are things that keep the whole world sane. I salute every woman out there trying to make everything in their family running as smooth as possible.

We are planning to have my hubby work in a yacht. We already know the process and the things we need to do but we are still waiting for the end of the hubby’s contract with a building company where he works as a technician. I was the one who first found out about this job and initially I was the one who wanted to apply. But, it seems like I can’t leave my daughter here behind and I already have a stable high paying job which is also something I just can’t let go that easily. I would love to explore the world, and work with the ocean view, but there are things I have to consider as well. I thought, that if I would be the one to apply, it would be a lot easier for me to get in cause I won’t have a hard time with the interview. We are still on the planning process, and we are still deciding on the things we will do next that has something to do with our future. I hope….to make the right decisions, and stand up for it no matter what. I know, God has  a good plan for our lives and I do trust all my dreams upon Him.  I know no amount of relacore reviews can make me rich. I need to do something else for our future.

As of now, I really really need to save as much as I can. The hubby’s contractual work will end soon as the building of Hilton hotel near SM is almost finished. Good thing he now has a one year background as an electrician. It would be a plus when applying abroad. However, I haven’t gotten into saving much as of this time and I knew I really needed to save save save save because he won’t have work for a time while he will be applying abroad and for sure that will cost us some money. Oh! God! Please help me save……………..

This is me and my hubby during our valentines day celebration. We stayed on the 13th of February till the 14th, which is the actual valentines day, in a hotel. It was our first time to be in a hotel together. Yes! That is very true. Some of you might be surprised cause you as a couple are frequent visitors of hotels. But, we are very simple people and for us, staying in a hotel is already a big luxury. However, since we have the money for it (which I really did set aside), we went there to have our much needed time alone. My hubby has been working really hard and I knew he deserves some rest. It was really a good break for both of us. Our much needed rest from all our responsibilities as parents.
We were both awed by the beauty of the room itself. Both of us told each other how nice it would be that we would have this kind of house. And yes! I am gonna make that as an affirmation. That someday, we can have our brand new house for ourselves. A house which can be a haven for us after a hard day at work. We were both envirograted and refreshed after a day in that hotel. We stayed in Verbana Suites. For only a thousand pesos, we get to stay for a full day. We checked in by 12 pm I think and checked out the same time by the following day. The room was very clean and cozy and not like the other cheap hotels. The room was very very spacious. In fact, that thousand pesos was good for 3-4 people. The room had a queen size bed and a smaller bed. So, there were two beds. The cable tv was a great source of entertainment too. I didn’t get to take advantage of their wifi too much. One day was indeed too short. But, at least I got a break from reviewing safe weight loss pills.

The life of a mother, specially that of a working mom is more than just challenging. Even I, as a mother and wife for more than 3 years, is still having difficulty achieving balance in everything that I do. Basically, the main reason why most mothers resort to anti aging products as their best friend in life. Life is short as they say. And as for me, I wanted to do many many things. Things that I love to do, things that I am passionate about. I couldn’t believe how I am able to manage running the house, having a full time job, taking care of my baby, running a mini store, taking care of my husband and running multiple blogs online. I even do side writing jobs. Some days are great, some days are just crazy. It’s all about how I manage it. I mean, there’s always the same amount of hours everyday. But the factor that spells out everything and can make a big difference is how we manage ourselves. Whenever I come across articles and blog posts that talks about how to manage one’s time efficiently, I couldn’t help myself but read it until its finished. With so many interruptions and new technologies nowadays, everyday could really be a challenged. I couldn’t even imagine, how I was able to dream about going back to school few months ago while juggling work and my responsibilities at home. But, that can wait. Yeah! I wanted to graduate college, but I’m not a superwoman. I am already a very busy mom and I just can’t add any more responsibilities to my long list of things to do. So, my secret to staying sane every day is to have a time for myself and to unwind. Have some time just to clear my mind and forget about worries and responsibilities. That’s my most favorite part of every day. (Oh no! You got me wrong. It doesn’t mean I hate my responsibilities or the things I do for my family) I love them with all my heart and they are my motivation for doing all of these things. But still, I am a human needing space and time for herself……Give me a break…….
