I only had one day off this week, cause someone swapped sched with me. Anyway, I would have 3 straight days off next week, so it would be very nice. Yesterday, we went shopping for a brand new television. We went to several shops for appliances before finally settling in for the one we liked. It was affordable yet of good quality. Good thing, it was on sale. We save around 500 bucks for it. Yepey! I was a little bit hesitant at first, because I am focusing my energy on saving for our family, for a future business venture. But, I know the hubby would liked it very much. I want him to enjoy his time, while waiting for work, so I think it would be really perfect. I was so right, cause right now, he is really enjoying it a lot. We used to watch movies in our computer, but the CD drive is not working now, so for a couple of months we never had anything to watch. We are really enjoying it. After work, I would pass by videocity to borrow a couple of Cd’s and Dvd’s that are nice to watch. The hubby loves suspense, action and thrilling movies like Death Race. Death Race is indeed awesome, you will be glued on the tv set while it is being aired because of the unpredictability and excitement of the movie.

Angels – the supernatural beings who are known to be good and keeps you safe and blessed. In my life, I realized that angels are real. They are not the unseen, as they seem to be. Or as we believe them to be. Angels are the real persons in our lifetime who makes our lives more meaningful, and who bring something into our lives that keep us alive, happier and more blessed. Angels are people who share their time, their knowledge without any expectation of being returned for something.

As for me, I just met a real angel. Someone I have never met, but someone I felt very connected to. Someone who changed my views of things and who has kept me humble enough to face my mistakes and realize my shortcomings to a situation that I have never faced before.
Someone who is not hesitant to share her time in any way possible. We have a lot of angels around us. As we are blessed, we are also encouraged to be angels to others. To be salt and light to those who need us. To be an inspiration to someone in despair. Yes, you could be an angel too. Perhaps to a lonely child, to a problematic coworker, to your loved ones who are bothered or to anyone who needs you and your time. Even for a short while, it would be a great difference in their lives, more than you thought it can be.

I feel broken right now. I don’t know where to start healing from here. Life is really funny sometimes. At one point, everything is okay, and then at one point, everything is just messed up. Like my feelings, my thoughts and generally everything in my life. I know it’s my work which is really causing me a lot of stress, and the bad thing, my relationships are affected cause I am burned out. I wanted to go away to a place where I could relax and be free for a while. Free from worries, responsibilities, heart aches, pains and from people who cause you sadness. Why is it that sometimes, its your loved ones who cause you pain? So, ironic.

I guess, this is where the importance of loving one’s self comes in. Something I failed to do, because all I did was to give and give, love and love those who are dear to me, but I failed to love the important person of all: myself. I have neglected myself and my own needs just to give way to theirs. All I think is about them.

Now, I don’t know where to start. I’m technically wounded. Where to go? I don’t know, but I know, time heals wounds. I hope.

I just finished loading the theme for this blog, and I would say I really really like it very much. When I was still with blogger, it was very very difficult to find a nice theme that would match my blog, but then, in wordpress I find it much easier. It’s up now, and as I’ve said I love it. So simple yet stunning.

I’d like to thank my friend, mommy ruby for she was the one who taught me how to install themes in wordpress, which was really a puzzle for me and I wouldn’t have learned it if not for her.

I also like to thank Carlota because she was the one who made my previous blog design, and I used that for many months. Now, I have to move on and step up so I really have to make some changes.

This site is moving to wordpress. I apologize for the inconvenience

I managed two active blogs plus a handful of other non active blogs that I still want to work on. With my full time job as a technical support plus my family responsibilities at home, blogging could most of the time be left behind my priorities. While doing chores, I have intentions of blogging for a while but I always end up not doing it, because of a lot of obligations.
So, what I am doing is making it a habit to blog regularly.
One hour every day during work days, and 3 hours a day for my two days off.
As of now, I have regularly blog at the same time, which is 6 pm to 7 pm, for the fourth times already, and still counting.
I know I can do this, and of course, just like any other goal, I will reward myself after accomplishing this. But, anyway, I am not thinking about the end yet, I am just focusing on each step, and I think its working. Who knows? I might just save enough from blogging for me to afford to get my family to have a vacation in Caribbean cruises . What a nice dream!

This is my getaway. Familiar? If your in Cebu, I’m sure it is. This photo was taken when the terraces in Ayala Cebu, was still being worked on. I can’t find a photo when it has already been completed. Actually, this is just the back or side view. The real view that will make you see “WOW” is really in the front. I also can’t use my camera phone, cause it can’t capture night images very well, its very dim and blurry. Last week, I’ve been here. It has been my getaway. I had a misunderstanding with the hubby, and I was furious at him for a while because of something he did that I totally misunderstood. So, confused and feeling lonely, I went here ALONE. There were a lot of people of course. And the calm of the night, was very relaxing. The view of the nice place, plus people wandering around, was a sight to see. The fountains and waters in the stairs we’re also marvelous. I felt closer to nature, even if I was actually in the city. After about an hour of thinking and staying silent, I was about to go home but then I didn’t wanna go home yet so I went to national bookstore instead and read some books that I wanna buy perhaps soon or some time. Then, I went home exhausted cause of walking and strolling but relaxed in my mind. The misunderstanding was eventually settled when I came home that night. * Sigh * I hate it whenever we have issues like this, but I know its part of a partnership, and there’s a lot more to come. But, I promise to grow and to learn from each experience.
By the way, this place again is called The Terraces, cause there are stairs with waters in them. You should come here in this place. It’s very relaxing and romantic. You can find nice Elm trees here This place is the reason why more and more people are coming to AYALA instead of SM.

I went to SM department store yesterday to pay for my internet bill, with PLDT.
Then I went to a shop for faucets and other home supplies cause ours need a replacement. I also went inside Expressions – which is somewhat similar to national bookstores, except that they dont have books. I bought bond paper for hubby and a nice thick notebook for me, cause I will make it my diary. It is nice to post rants here in there in my blogs, but of course there are some things that I really want to stay private. I want to be able to express without any hesitation or whatsoever. I’m a private person, and I am even surprise to have the guts to share personal matters mostly in this blog.
I want to be able to track my thoughts, dreams, hopes, fears and happiness in that notebook which will be my getaway from this world. Ever since I’ve always loved to keep a diary. It’s nice to think to have something to look at, few years from now or perhaps when I am older. That’s if the book will not decay or something, hehe.
Such a tiring day for me at work, lots of calls. As in, non stop from the time I logged in to logged out time. Harrrgghhh. I have to do something back home to unwind. So much for ranting, I will be home to see my family again. Glad to be going home, finally.

My entertainment blog, famous circle is doing very well. I was able to increase its traffic in just a couple of months. Actually, from the first month I already saw the improvement. Now, I am not dropping cards everyday but I still have that high mark, because there are people who know it already and they love to keep coming back to it, every now and then. I am already earning, pretty well from it, just starting to. I love my entertainment blog cause I don’t run out of posts to say. I also don’t run out of words to say for this blog though, but its still different when it comes to entertainment. I know I am a writer by heart, so I really love to write and write. I also have a page rank now, for famous circle, even if its just one. I still need more backlinks for it, so I think that will be worked on if I would have more time.

I would like to welcome this month: February. It’s already the second day of the month, and I feel so excited about this month. Nothing really special, but I just want to remind to myself to savor each day and make the most out of it, instead of letting days drift away. Also a reminder to everyone. I don’t know what’s in store, but whatever it is, I know it will be something good and I know God has surprises and plans for me for my betterment.
