It has been a habit of me that every time I log in to my computer, the first thing I would do is to check my favorite blogs. These are blogs that I follow for some specific reason. These are blogs that makes my day, and I feel somewhat incomplete whenever I don’t get to read them. I don’t wanna miss any of their posts. I wanna be updated as much as I can. These are blogs I have read mostly from cover to cover.

1. Marriage and Beyond
- a blog maintained by Jennie, the wife of pastor Jeff. They are husbands and wife, and both of them are bloggers. Jeff has his own blog too. Sometimes pastor Jeff writes here, but most of the time, its Jennie. I like it, cause I learn a lot from it. Jennie is such a wise woman who knows a lot about different subjects, whether its about their family life, their son Jed, her quests in finding the right products for their home, juggling her work as a work at home mom, her ministry at church, or about products like Leptovox, she sure is knowledgeable enough.

2. Pinaymommyonline
- a blog maintained by a mom who is stay at home. I have read this blog from the beginning. I have followed her colorful and sometimes crazy journey to finding love and keeping her family intact. You will admire her strength and unconditional love to her hubby despite his mistakes and shortcomings. She is a wise woman who tries everything to give everything to her children.

3. Life As Experienced Daily
- a blog I frequent daily. I love his ideas on different subjects. Sometimes he preaches about spiritual stuff but he is also a very well rounded person. I am talking about Jeff, Jennie’s husband. A faith servant of God who loves his family and son so much. Jeff loves to talk about gadgets, latest technology, spiritual things, family life, his sports endeavor and anything under the sun.

These are some of my ever favorite blogs. These are on my top list, but of course there are a handful of other blogs that I also frequent. Your blog might be one of them. They surely make my day, and make me excited to go to work to check on their updates every now and then.

People nowadays are so busy working. Making out of every second to do something that will help them amass more and more money. Most of us reasons out that it is for us and our loved ones to be more secure financially.
But it suddenly hit me! The uncertainty of life will always be there. Real security can only be found in God. It can be developed through focusing on God first and foremost. Developing a relationship with me, that will never be shattered. After all, its one of the things that will be eternal. It will lasts forever. Not only in this world, but in the next life. It will determine where we spend our eternity.
Everything on earth is just passing. So, we shouldn’t be too attached on these material things and on achievements. Even fame and power can really be deceiving. These are all works of the devil, to keep us away from the truth. To lure us into committing sins.
So, before you think about securing yourself with a level term life insurance, ask yourself first if you are secure about your destiny in eternity. After all, that’s whats matter most. In fact, its the only thing that matter.

I love collecting profiles of friendster people who are interesting to know. In this post, I would showcase another profile to watch out for. Of course, I know this girl. A young and energetic lady from Bohol, where I grew up. She was famous in high school, and I guess even in Cebu where she is studying as a college student. Her course, is related to medical stuff. She is young, healthy and vibrant. One who doesn’t need to make use diet pills of just to look good, like what most young teenagers are resorting to. With her wit/intelligence, personality and guts, she can really make it to top beauty queen contests. She is one.

My mom just arrived a week ago from a month vacation to Davao.  She had to be away from us, cause her older brother, died due to lung complications. He was a smoker and a drunkard, and finally it was his time to go. My mom went there alone. She had to ride a plane to get there in Davao, coming here from Cebu. The little one, terribly missed her. She kept crying for the first week, since it was her other lola “hubby’s mother” who took the place of taking care of her. I really felt pity for her, and I tried my best to be there all the time if I am not working. The next week after that, she was okay. Then, after a month, her lola “my mom” came home, and she didn’t recognize her at first. But, it didn’t take a day for them to get closer again. Now, she’s leaving again to Davao. Her sister’s husband, has died of accident. It was so sad, and I really cried cause my uncle was a kind hearted man. I have good memories of him. So, my mom has to leave us again, this time only for 4-5 days. So, I had to buy her Samsonite luggage  to make sure her things will be intact and safe. I pray for her safe trip. I can’t afford to lose my mom, not now.

The great surprise for today? The sheriff visited me. I have read people talking about their happiness over the sheriff visiting them, cause it would be more assignments and extra income.
Today, I wasn’t supposed to log in to payu2blog, cause I thought I’m done with the paid posts assigned for me, this week. But, since I have no more websites to visit, and I was bored, I opened up my account, to check the one paid post I left out yesterday.
It shocked me and I thought I pressed the wrong button when I saw another batch of paid posts, wherein I just finished a handful of ones the day before.
Then, I saw the stars saying, the sheriff has visited me because of the good work I’ve been showing. Hmmmm, I was happy for that. This is a surprise, and this would be a great help in adding to my savings.
Thanks sheriff, thanks payU, and thank you so much Lord.

I never watched the movie, Love Me Again on the big screen. But, we watched it on a dvd I bought from Colon. If you don’t know what Colon is, its a place here in Cebu which is for the mass (ordinary people). The products you can find here are very cheap. You can save hundreds by buying here, instead of buying products like toys, clothing, household chores, gadgets in department stores like Ayala or SM. It’s truly a great saver specially in these times. Like, one time, I bought a wall clock, worth 60 pesos, which could be bought around 150-200 in department stores. We also buy our store items there, in Colon Market. Everything is there, though you might not like the place very much. It’s not like the clean and air conditioned malls. Going back to the main topic, I bought a dvd, which is you know. I don’t wanna mention it. I didn’t like it, cause it was so blurry. It’s like your watching a recording in a moviehouse. The sound is not good. The faces are difficult to visualize. There were scenes which have been cut out. So I wasn’t really able to appreciate the movie itself. What I like about it, is the beautiful scenery from Bukidnon. I’m sure they really prepared a lot of horse supplies just to make it real. The mountainious background makes me remember, the movie, The Sound of Music. As always, Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascul played it excellently. I hope to be able to view it in an original video, so I can really appreciate it, as it should be.

Men are creatures who simply love things like cars, gadgets, sports material, motors, guns, among other things. It has just been built to their conciousness ever since. Women have other interests also. They could be enthused with activities like cooking, sewing, shopping, arranging, gardening and others. Men and women are really different in a lot of ways. For couples, it is important to respect each other’s interest. If your man, loves to play drums and be involve in bands and any activity that has something to do with music, we women should be enthusiastic about his plight by showing our moral support. We should be their cheerers.  Whether we like the activity he is involved in or not, as long as its not immoral and illegal like fire arms with no license, alcohol, drugs and anything that can destroy them. If they love things like racing cars, car lifts, speed cars we can support them by bringing them to places where they can enjoy that kind of activities, probably a new place than what he is used to. If they love to play golf, we can cheer them while they are playing. It may be a small act, but it means so much to them.

The times are quickly evolving. Everyday, new discoveries of doing things better, in a quicker and more efficient manner, are being unraveled. The capacity of the human mind, indeed to create new things for the betterment, has not stopped from the discoveries of space crafts, new ways of communication, robots and machines. It also can be found in the internet itself. If used correctly, the internet can really be of great help to us. It can do wonders in our lives for us to save time and resources. Almost anything can be done on the internet. Ordering a bride, looking for a man or a woman to be  life partner, entertaining yourself with games, sending messages in a second, watching movies online. All of these, can be done on the internet. Now, more and more are resorting to online shopping as  means of saving time and avoiding the hussles of going to shops or malls to look for the product or service that you need. For example, now, there is a website that offers decorative hardware along with other products and services that can help a busy working mom and house keeper to keep her house looking neat and beautiful. It offers a wide range of products that are of high quality. Almost everything you need for your home. It can also be a reference for home designers, engineers and professionls. You don’t only see the products in pictures, but you also get to learn information about it, such as installation tips, how to maintain it, and other educational articles. All that you need to know. It is important for the website administrators to provide service with education. They are not like those annoying salesman who would make up unbelievable stories, just to flatter you and get you to buy their products. They just simply provide facts, then, you decide. This website is Invitinghome.com. The showroom of the site, is located in Massachusetts. The goal of its products is to add fine details to your home, that will create the strongest visual impact to visitors, through a classic good look. We are visual people, and we admire beauty. So, maintaining a beutiful home is really important.

I have a friend who is worried about finding a shop in the United States, where she could find shutters for their new home.  She is a filipina, who has married an american, and so, she’s not familiar of how to go about there yet. So, when she emailed me, I replied, giving her the link of the site. And boy, she was so happy. She just shopped online, and it was delivered to their home. She even sent me a photo of the shutter she bought, that’s the one at the top. Good choice, cause she didn’t have to go out of the house to buy it. No hassle.

It has been another week for me. This day, is the end of my week, because its the last day of work. As for others, this is just almost the beginning. This is something I look forward to every week. Something that keeps me upbeat and hopeful, despite work being stressful and never ending. My long term goal of saving up for a business is also something I hold on to. I know someday, time will come, I won’t have to work in  a full time job. I won’t have to settle for doing something I don’t really love to do. I can be free over my time, and have better control of my life. But, of course I can’t just dump my job like that. It’s still a blessing, and its the one giving us food in the table, and the ability to buy things we need and want. We live a very simple life. Only buying wants if we have extra, and concentrating more on the very important things.

Thus, despite having only one source of income since my husband’s contract ended, we survived and we are not really living a very difficult life. Saving some amount in my account, successfully. Blogging has also been another source of income. Something I thought was not even possible,  a year ago.

For Valentines, nothing really special happened. In fact, nothing at all. I even was a bit “mad” at him, and nagtatampo. It was just an ordinary day for him. I was so disappointed. Maybe, he’s not just that kind of man, who like those things. He has different ways of communicating his love. Ways, I don’t really prefer. I prefer those romantic things and all that. Anyhow, I think we really need to communicate better so our marriage will be successful. It’s really not easy. I need to be more vocal instead of being just silent and keeping my thoughts and rummge to myself, specially the negative ones.
