What am I up to? I’m busy right now, updating my celebrity blog. It’s just a new site. Actually it was started some few months ago, but I started to work on it, just last month. I am getting a very good response from it from people. People have been coming over to read my chikkas and updates on their favorite celebrities. It takes diligence and discipline for me to research all those stories and photos, to finally upload them, to visit other sites, and edit photos and all those maintenance that has to be done for a blog to become successful. You know how much I love celebrity news. It’s one of my passions.
But, I still try my best to post here also, so I wont leave my readers and friends behind.

As I am writing this, this will be the 424thth post that I will create for this blog of mine, which has been a source not only of income but of friendships, connections, outlet for expression and everything else I could ever think of. Blogging has brought a lot of good things for me. To think about the immaterial things it has given me, I am eternally blessed to have discovered this one outlet of writing my deepest thoughts, sharing my experiences and discovering my real identity.
Truly, blogging is a great great hobby, and I am enjoying it. I am not pressured in making this a real success or a really popular blog. All I want is something to do that makes me happy and passionate. I want to thank all my blogging friends and every one who has been visiting my site and reading my posts. Thanks to all of you. With blogging, everyday can be a friendship day for you and me.

I call her Ate Khen. She’s my cousin whom I haven’t seen for 10 years. The last time I’ve seen her was when I was still in grade 6. Now, I have my own little kid and she finally went to us and visited us. She had a vacation all by herself, and decided to tour cebu and bohol. The first time I saw her was quiet awkward cause I imagine the time we haven’t seen each other. We were still little kids back then. Now, she is a grown up lady, who is now 24 years old. She is a very matured person when it comes to her thinking. She works in a bank, and at her age she has saved some money for herself already, and bought things for her family and herself. I admire her simplicity and her outlook in life. She is a religious woman and she even desires to be a nun. When she came, she had lots of pasalubong for us. She gave me and mom a t-shirt and a coat, and she brought a lot of food delicacies from Davao. She started talking about some topics related to banking such as Outer Banks rentals, interests and rates of loans, the nature of her work among other informational topic and was just blank since I have no idea about those things. Ever since, I have always been disgusted with numbers and mathematics. I’m not a number person, unless, your referring to money. Lol

This picture was taken at the Northwing of SM mall just this week. My hubby accompanied me to the mall to buy my eyeglasses, since I have been
constantly complaining of head aches and pain around my eyes for the last two weeks. He has been telling me many times in the past that I need to buy one, for protection. I never listened though, thinking its just another spending which was not immediate at that time.
But when I started to feel the pains, I thought it could have been better if I bought my eyeglasses earlier.
Well, anyway, I have it now. Good thing the doctor from executive optical said that my eyes are okay and I still have 20/20 vision.
It’s just fatigue from my work that’s the culprit. I admit, I overused and abused my body, not only my eyes.
I just realized now, that health must be a priority for working people like me. What’s money if your health is failing. And to add to that, if you are healthy, money will follow because more opportunities will come to you.
I really enjoyed that simple break of roaming and wandering around the mall after we bought my eyeglasses, which doesn’t have a grade but has UV protection to protect my eyes from radiation. The hubby also bought a new sunglasses for himself.
We even stopped by a car show, where the cars are really so beautiful and all of them looks so elegant. Though I know having a car is not easy too, cause you have to think of a lot of things like the auto insurance of the car, the gas for maintenance and every day cleaning. You even have to bring it to the car wash at times. With the good turn around of opportunities in our family, who knows, we might be driving our own for the next years to come.

The Sombrero Galaxy – 28 million light years from Earth – was voted best picture taken by the Hubble telescope. The dimensions of the galaxy, officially called M104, are as spectacular as its appearance. It has 800 billion suns and is 50,000 light years across.

The Ant Nebula, a cloud of dust and gas whose technical name is Mz3, resembles an ant when observed using ground-based telescopes.. .

The nebula lies within our galaxy between 3,000 and 6,000 light years from Earth.

In third place is Nebula NGC 2392, called ‘Eskimo’ because it looks like a face surrounded by a furry hood. The hood is, in fact, a ring of comet-shaped objects flying away from a dying star. Eskimo is 5,000 light years from Earth.

At four is the Cat’s Eye Nebula.

The Hourglass Nebula, 8,000 light years away, has a ‘pinched-in- the-middle’ look because the winds that shape it are weaker at the centre.

In sixth place is the Cone Nebula. The part pictured here is 2.5 light years in length (the equivalent of 23 million return trips to the Moon).

The Perfect Storm, a small region in the Swan Nebula, 5,500 light years away, described as ‘a bubbly ocean of hydrogen and small amounts of oxygen, sulphur and other elements’.

Starry Night, so named because it reminded astronomers of the Van Gogh painting. It is a halo of light around a star in the Milky Way.

The glowering eyes from 114 million light years away are the swirling cores of two merging galaxies called NGC 2207 and IC 2163 in the distant Canis Major constellation.

The Trifid Nebula. A ‘stellar nursery’, 9,000 light years from here, it is where new stars are being born.

The mind is more powerful than computers. When used to the fullest, it can create the most creative, astonishing product that rooted from a humble yet imaginative idea. These are all examples of the products of a creative mind. Just another proof, that the mind is indeed more creative and powerful than we think.

These are pictures of our little baby bless who is now 1 year and 2 months old. At her age, she has brought tremendous happiness and joy to our family. She is a blessing in disguise indeed. I say blessing in disguise cause she was not planned at all, but I realized in the end, she was meant to be for me, and for us. She was meant to complete our family, and to complete some of the missing pieces in my life. Her presence simply gives me and my husband, more purpose in life and more motivation to pursue and continue seeking a better life for all of us, specially for our special one. We keep on working to make ends meet, and to save for the future. Our life is indeed a very simple one with lots of dreams and goals. Together, we know that we can achieve all of these. Of course, we the help of God, who has never left us. That is why, serving Him and giving a part of our average income to Him is very important for us. We try our very best to live within our means. I just find it funny sometimes, that other people keep on complaining about the economy and about their life status, but they never ever do anything. They keep on spending as long as they want. They eat out a lot of times, almost every weekend. They spend on unnecessary items and realized that they have no money left, and they have to screw up the little money left for the next payday. It’s just so illogical for me.
Remember, that whatever you do right now, will determine your future. If you want a better life for your family, you have to do something about it. You have to take control of your situation, and stop complaining or blaming what you are going through with outside circumstances. In short, we have to take 100% responsibility over our own lives.
I am saying this, because starting a family of my own, who started from scratch or nothing to whatever we have right now, I realized how important our decisions are. I learned how to use money in the most efficient way. I was a spend thrift before, but it totally changed because of what we’ve been through.
Oh, off topic by the way, christmas is fast approaching. I am excited for the season, because this is baby’s 2nd year. First year, she was still few months old and has no idea of what’s going on. I am hoping we will enjoy this year. I am already thinking about presents for my loved ones. I wish I could be there at the mall, if there’s a sale . Hmm, here’s the cheapskate in me again.
I’m thinking about some online shopping. Better start finding for a site that sells high quality items but low price. I remember a commercial about Buy.com, which stars Howie Mandel. It really made me want to check out the site. According to him, the site offers a lot of great deals, and imagine its free shipping. I think, that’s what busy moms like me needed for Christmas.

It’s been 2 weeks since I’ve been suffering from headaches due to prolonged exposure to the radiation of the computer. I can’t avoid it, since we work 9 hours a day, and that’s the time that we stare at the computer doing our work. I know its my eyes cause my eyes hurt and you know this feeling that you want to vomit and you feel dizzy when you stay longer than an hour in front of the pc? I think, I really need glasses now. I will try to buy the eyeglasses for me this afternoon. The hubby has been telling me to buy one for protection. Now, I kept on extending it and here I am suffering because of my eyes. Huhuhu!

Starting today, Monday my work schedule is now 3 am up to 12:00 pm.
Whew! Our supervisor realized I am just a walking distance from work and so she placed me on this schedule. I don’t know what to say. I was shocked when I first saw the final schedule. I was like, okay, okay. I can do this. But, deep inside I was really not so convinced. I waked up very early, 2 am. I had to wake up Ronel too, so I have companion. I can’t walk that 500 steps alone, of course. I am typing this at work, cause we have less calls today due to the holiday season. I hope, this happens everyday. Nah! It takes 10 minutes or more, before the next comes in. Wow, what a nice treat. The advantage of this schedule is that time flies fast, and I still have the rest of the day to spend. That’s about a half day.
