This is my cousin Jessica Digamon Mangle. She grew up in the United States. For her, she is just a normal teenager just like anybody else. But, for others, specially people for age, she is not. Her classmates consider her lucky enough since she has more things than them.
Sometimes, she even can’t see how lucky she is. She has a lot of new things, and she can wish for anything she like. If she would tell her mom, she likes this, she can get it with no hassles. When she came to the Philippines, to study there, all her classmates were so amazed of her. They like the way she talks, very slang and elegant, very natural.
As far as my memory serves, she is a brat girl when she was young. She would spank you if she’s mad even if your not doing anything, she would shout at you. You know, the normal brat american girl. We consider her a bad girl when she was young, and we would hide when she’s not in the mood. As far as my memory serves me, we’ve never been that close when she was young. Except that, most kids would really like to draw closer to her to ask for chocolates.
But when she went back to study high school, she was already mature and very lady like. Even if she’s not perfect, she’s much better than who she was when she was young. We became closer and she even confided her deepest secrets to me, and I do the same thing to her. She has a very good instinct, and she can feel what you are thinking without you telling it to her. She’s like a psychic. She loves to sing and dance, and she even joined beauty pageants in her high school. She joined dance contests too, and of course she wins most of the time. I’m proud of my cousin. Go Jessie! Right here in these pictures, you can see that she joined the Pinoy Pop Center for music for her voice and dance lessons. I know she has a good future to look forward to. I wish her all the best.
Every one loves watching movies. Yeah, that’s why movie theater owners get profit because we people are naturally movie lovers. Movies take us to a different world, some times to a world that we would like to be in. We feel our heart beats when our favorite actress and actors are in danger and in the climax of scenes, such as in action movies. We feel our heart beats skipping when we see that the leading man is about to drop a kiss to the leading lady. We rejoice when the leads triumph and we cry when they are defeated. That’s how movie goes, and that’s how powerful it is to affect us so much. Nowadays that we are facing hardships with our economy, going out for a movie could be very taxing and expensive. Specially when there are a lot of you going out. So, how about if you just set up your own movie house? You can turn your home to become a movie house theater too. You just have to find a way to make it darker and then buy a big television. Cool idea? If you are rich and you have money, you can even buy home theater sconces, to match your home theaters decor. With this, you can indeed take your home theater to a more exciting level, that you’ll never think about going to theaters anymore.
This is my very first entry with Manic Monday. Whew, I like the questions, she’s really good with giving challenging questions.
What sound or noise do you love?
= i love the sound of waves and dolphins, its so smoothing. it’s very hard to do in real life, so a cd will do. for sure, it can cure your stress away.
What sound or noise do you hate?
= i hate the sound of sarcastic customers. i understand that they are frustrated though and it’s nothing personal, but still sometimes it hurts.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
= teaching. that’s the job I think I can do for the rest of my life.
What profession would you not like to do?
= nursing. huhuh, but my mom wants me to be a nurse. I attempted to take it, but only finished 2 years of it, and realized that I’m really not for that field. Glad I backed out. Sorry mom! Love yah!
I think most people are already aware of what happened to MV Princess of the Stars, one of the biggest ships of Sulpicio Lines. Wherein, the ship sank and killed many people. Many people are still missing right now. More than 800 people was aboard the ship last Sunday. While it was on sea, it was hit by the strong typhoon, Frank. It was strong enough to make the ship sink and kill the people on it. Most of them are old people or children. I really can’t imagine the site of it. The company is being questioned right now, for letting the ship sail even if Frank was already on signal number 1. The management said that its because its not covered by the guidelines, because this ship is known to be very big and can even sail despite having signal number 3. But now, look what happened. Just because one person decided (the captain) to go, the lives of people have been endangered. Very few survived. And if they may have survived, they will never forget the tragedy and the agony of the experience.
I know it was an accident, and it was never meant to be. But, I think if proper guidelines was followed, it could have been prevented. In a business, we should not only think of money and profit, we should also think of the welfare of the people, specially if its very risky.
All we can do right now, is to offer a prayer for all the people who have lost their lives. Praying that they may somehow rest in peace.
Sadness? Its part of life. Right now, I certainly feel lonely and sad. I’m trying to find reasons to be happy and to be grateful for the day. But there are just days that I find it hard to do so. It’s complicated and I really have reasons to be sad. But, I can’t divulge the details. It just seems like things are not going my way. ***sigh**** how I wish. How I wish I have more freedom, and I don’t have to stand up to a job that doesn’t really make me happy. How I wish I can make choices. Like, staying with my baby in the house, run a sari-sari store business and take care of my family instead of working all day long, turmoiled with emotional issues and stress from work.
Yes, it is my choice. But it’s because I have no choice right now. I really don’t. I know, I have to deal with it, and hope that everything will be alright. There are just some times that life is pressing us too hard and you don’t understand a single thing. Your doing your best and yet your best is still not enough. Get it? If you are too happy right now, you might not, but if you are dealing with life issues, most likely you get what I mean. If only I could tell you everything. But hey, I just have to relax and wait until the blue feeling fades away. After all, at the end of the day, one thing prevails: God loves me and He has good plans for me. Everything will work out just fine.
Sorry guys, this post might be a little vague for you, I just couldn’t share you the very details of it, but yes, I am having a lot of issues lately. I hope you understand.
If you don’t that’s your problem. Just kidding !

As you can see guys this is not updated, since I’m still on feast 192 wherein fact in the friday’s feast website they are already on 194 I guess. I want to do those which I failed to do previously. Hehe, sorry for that.
Appetizer
When you drink soda/pop/coke, do you prefer to drink it from the bottle, a can, or after pouring it into a cup?
= I prefer to drink it from the bottle, if the bottle is small. You can really feel that you are drinking softdrinks. Drinking it in a cup is healthier though, but the effect lessens. hehe, know what I mean?
Soup
What television show are you willing to stay up late to watch?
= nothing, I will not trade sleep for any show. I value myself and my health than these shows. Sure, this can be addicting, and I am still struggling on it. But let’s think about it, these shows have nothing to do with our lives and it’s even wasting our precious time. I better use it to talk to my hubby.
Salad
Name one person, place, or thing you think of as brilliant.
= One person I consider brilliant is a friend named Rogee, one of the most intelligent persons I’ve ever met.
One place I think is brillian would be disney I guess, it’s everyone’s dream.
I consider computers as brilliant because it’s so high tech and it helps us do work faster and more efficient.
Main Course
Would you be willing to work 4 10-hour days instead of 5 8-hour days in order to save gas?
= Yes I would be very much willing, I have an extra day for myself that I can use to productive things.
Dessert
If you were a superhero, what would you call yourself?
= IRA, that is the name of my star, in the sky. Ira for me reminds me to be brave and strong.
Little Chad was a shy, quiet young man. One day he came home and told his mother that he’d like to make a valentine for everyone in his class. Her heart sank. She thought, “I wish he wouldn’t do that!” because she had watched the children when they walked home from school. Her Chad was always behind them. They laughed and hung on to each other and talked to each other. But Chad was never included. Nevertheless, she decided she would go along with her son. So she purchased the paper and glue and crayons. For three weeks, night after night, Chad painstakingly made 35 valentines.
Valentine’s Day dawned, and Chad was beside himself with excitement. He carefully stacked them up, put them in a bag, and bolted out the door. His mother decided to bake him his favorite cookies and serve them nice and warm with a cool glass of milk when he came home from school. She just knew he would be disappointed and maybe that would ease the pain a little. It hurt her to think that he wouldn’t get many valentines - maybe none at all.
That afternoon she had the cookies and milk on the table. When she heard the children outside, she looked out the window. Sure enough, there they came, laughing and having the best time. And, as always, there was Chad in the rear. He walked a little faster than usual. She fully expected him to burst into tears as soon as he got inside. His arms were empty, she noticed, and when the door opened she choked back the tears.
“Mommy has some cookies and milk for you,” she said. But he hardly heard her words. He just marched right on by, his face aglow, and all he could say was, “Not a one. Not a one.”
Her heart sank.
And then he added, “I didn’t forget a one, not a single one.!”
