Was I Really Triumphant?

This is my true to life story and my entry for a contest sponsored by Carlota of Dashing Smiles. If you want to join guys, check her website, you might just win.
This is my graduation picture, when I was awarded as Class Valedictorian. The one who took this is my only sister. The one in the right most side is my mother and at the back my father. This picture was taken way back in year 2003 – my high school graduation. This is the day when I felt that I had succeeded in my ultimate goal (well, i thought so).
Way back in my elementary years I thought I had a perfect family. Until one day, my father left to be with another freaking woman (forgive me Lord). That day, changed my life forever. The young girl in me, who has a free spirit, happy and carefree changed to a serious and achiever type who has lots of grief inside. I covered my sadness with an aura of confidence and I never let anyone have a hint that the situation greatly affected me. Yes, I was hiding the truth. I had lots of anger inside me, and all because of one person – my father. I hated him and I told myself that I would do everything to show to him how irresponsible he was and what he did to our family is something that is very hard to forgive. He ruined my life, he ruined my future. My motivation was to show to him that we can live without him, and that I will not ruin my own life, but will do something to make it better. To make him feel that WE don’t need him. I focused on my studies. I avoided fun activities which does not benefit me at all. I studied and studied, and excel in school, not because I want my dad to be proud, but because I want to hurt him. I became popular at school.
Everyone knows me, and everyone looks up to me. I’m the leader and head of most of the school organizations. In a way, it was healthy because I am enriching myself, but I felt empty inside. Finally, after 4 years of sacrifice and struggles, I made it. I graduated. I felt like I finally achieved my mission. Or, have I really achieved it? My father came back to us, just about a month before my graduation I couldn’t be specific. I remember the very first day that I saw him I never felt anything but anger. I showed him an emotionless face, and what he didn’t know was that I was crying the whole night before. Yes, the anger hasn’t face. Thinking of all the pain she gave to my mom, I still couldn’t forgive him. On my graduation speech, I thank my mom and I almost choked upon mentioning the name of my dad (yes, i included him upon the urged of my relatives who basically just FORCED me to do so), while my dad was with the audience listening and watching her once little girl at the platform. My dad went back to us, but our family has never been the same again. There are just some things that can never be healed (or perhaps will take forever). Now, I can say that I have forgiven my dad, though I still have some hurts inside. I realized that I still love him, and he is still my dad. I don’t wanna wait until he is gone to forgive him and I know I am still his little girl.
P.S I am crying while making this entry. Forgive me. I just cant help it.
My Very First Blogging Payment
Hi guys, I have received my first payment from blogging, yehey! I am now a certified paid blogger. Smorty paid me for my very first approved blog post from them. What can I say? Ooolla, keep the money rolling. Yeah, honestly I like smorty because they pay very fast. So, that is really great. I hope other blog advertising also implement fast payment, because with others, where I got some approved posts too, I have to wait for a month. Gee! Whaatta. This is just a small payment, but to me I will cherish and remember it forever, because this is my very first pay from blogging. I think I need to work on getting more links though, my PR is back to zero, so as you can expect, I wouldn’t get a of offers. I haven’t gotten my own domain yet, as the domain in blogger for $10 needs a credit card payment. And honestly, I don’t have a credit card yet. I am planning to apply for one. By the way, talking of proofs, just look at the graphics from above. Believe it now?

Scheduled Posts on Blogger: New Feature

Blogger is just getting better. Now, it is getting more convenient and user friendly. It has just launched a new feature. Now, blogger allows you to schedule your posts to be posted at a later date. Let’s say you have plenty of time right now, and you know that you will not be able to update your blog everyday anymore because you will be busy on coming days. Well, you don’t have to worry anymore. All you have to do on blogger, is to post’s date into the future, and blogger will wait to publish it until the scheduled date of your choice.
How to do it?
just create a post the normal way, and then click the post options below on your post editor page, after your done with the post, then it will show the date that you can change at a future date, and then you just have to click on publish. It will not be published, but instead it will be listed on your posts, if you go to edit posts, you will see that it is scheduled. When the time comes on when you set it, it will be automatically posted. Great news right? I’m already using it as of now, as there are some days that I am really very inspired to write and I can’t stop but write and write, and there are also days that I feel drained and don’t have any idea in my head.
hehe.
Blogger rocks!
