TAKE TIME TO SLOW DOWN

People nowadays are more prone to stress. Stress is the disruption of the body’s balance, which involves mental, emotional or physical strain or tension. Sometimes, in our goal towards “perfectionism” we tend to put on too much responsibilities, most of which are not even necessary. Most of the time, we create our own “tension”. The world today makes us so busy in the effort to produce more, and achive more. We tend to forget sometimes that our life here on earth is just temporary. A death of a loved one, a close friend, or even just a plain acquiantance, makes us realize this reality. If we don’t forget this, we will live a meaningful life. The knowledge that life has an end, makes us slow down and focus only on the important things in our lives.

I am guilty sometimes of failing to slow down, in my quest for providing my family a better life. I am still in the rat race, trying to make a living, and to make both ends meet for our necessities. Thus, I tend to forget to stop, to slow down and to reflect on my life. Everytime I forget, I just read this line and I’m back on track. Hope it works for you too.

These are the screen shots of the new and old template for my blog. I was thinking the old one is not really a good design, and I’m sure I could still find a way to make it better. Luckily, I stumbled through a website giving away free blogger templates. Finalsense, gives away very beautiful and creative designs. If you like to have one for your site, you can visit them and download the template. Just make sure that you will back up your original template. And oh, don’t forget to copy your widgets and also your links.

What do you think guys? Did I make the right choice? Well, just wanna know your ideas. But, if you will ask me, I really like the new one. It’s very stylish and neat, and it compliments my writing style. If you want to change your templates and get to choose from a variety of cool templates, just go and check the site, its worth it.

It’s the first week of April and I’m so happy for getting a perfect attendance for the month of March. Since I started to work in this company, 5 months ago, I never had any absences nor lates. Yehey! Cheers to me and to all the dedicated workers out there. Our employers are lucky to have us.

I’m happy today because it’s now 3 am, and 3 hours from now, it would be my day off already. Supposed to be, yesterday was my day off but someone swapped schedule with me. I will have a 2 days off. I’ll still give some time, to blogging though. I don’t have internet at home, so I will just go to an internet cafe. I will not take too long though, perhaps just create a post and check on my friends and that’s it.

I just changed my template, and I wasn’t able to take note of the links, I forgot to. Good thing, I was able find a way to get the links from my friends. I’m not sure if I linked you all, so please do inform me if your not on my list. Okay?

Yehey, I am so happy because I will have rest, I will be able to play with my baby who is now starting to have teeth, and also with my husband.

Thank you Lord for this week, it has been a roller coaster. Work has been stressful. We got a new team leader, and I need to adjust. But, oh, change is part of life, and I don’t have any choice but to just go with the flow.

I promised to publish more of her, more photos, more info and here it is. Hope you enjoy. To all Kim Chiu fanatics, to all the die hard fans out there, I’m sure you will like this. She is a great person, and yes, she deserves all your admiration. Wish I could be like her, hahaha! just kidding. I’m unique and am too is beautiful….:) wahahaha…… this might raise a people power, but who cares? I don’t….hahaha…A little bit of crazy out here now. Well, I loved her, not only her physical look, but most of all, the way she carries herself, the way she looks at life. I’m a psychologist, not by profession, but by biological genes. haha! Yes, I can tell the behavior and the real personality of a person. And knowing Kim Chiu, I’ve been watching her all the time when she was still at the Pinoy Big Brother.

Kim Chiu’s real name is Jansen Mueco Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu. (what a lengthy name!)

Perhaps, if she wasn’t there, I wouldn’t consider watching it. She made the show more real, colorful, interesting, dynamic, lovable, fun and what more? haha, can’t think of any. In the Big Brother House, she often sing her favorite song, which became a big hit when she recorded it, entitled “Kaibigan”. The original version of that is really in Chinese. She just sang it in tagalog. I loved the song, this became one of the songs of my life. Yeah, at the time I thought I don’t have anyone, except my “husband” now, when he was still my boyfriend, I used to sang this. Well, just a little bit of a loner and serious person here. I just felt before, that he was the only true friend I have, and all the others are just “fake ones”, because when I needed them, they were not there for me. They’re all busy fixing their own lives.

She was born on April 19,1990. She was born in Tacloban, Leyte.

Ofcourse, everyone knows that Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson has been paired. They look good together. They’re both smiling and cute, right? They have the same aura. I’m hoping they will be together in real life, and also that they will have more projects. I know you do too! wink_:)

The first day of April is marked as “April Fools Day”. Today, we should all beware of pranks and joke baits from friends and coworkers. My most unforgettable April Fool’s Day was 10 years ago. When I was young I really loved to fool people, just for fun. My mind is so creative that it was so natural and easy for me to think of a way to fool people. I knew already that it was April Fool’s Day that day, and I resolved to do something to make it unforgettable. During that time, cellphones were not yet very popular here in the Philippines, only landlines. We had a newly installed phone, and the people in the house of my grandmother, which was also a school didn’t know that there was a cellphone which is unused at the office of my aunt, which is still working. I came up with a fun and crazy idea. I called our phone using the cellphone, which is not far. It’s just like one meter afar, but there is a big desk that separates the two. Now, I called the main phone line using the cellphone, and one of the house helpers answered it, she’s about 10 years older than me. I changed my voice, into a scary one, and I told her that I can see what’s she’s doing. I described how she looked, and the clothes she is wearing. I also described the place where she is. She was super scared, that I almost laughed. I hurried back to the sala, and when she saw me she told me that a ghost called her, and she said it sounded so true because the voice seems to come from deep down the soil. I almost choked. I called her again, and this time I told her that I know what she ate for lunch, and other things she did, she almost cried. Haha! I’m so naughty, right? The story became popular in our place, and people talked about it, they believe it was a ghost, because near the house is a hunted house. I just kept on silent, and I never told anyone about it. I never realized that a small game could be a huge issue. So as of now, I don’t fool people anymore, even if its April Fool’s Day. I just smile instead, every time that memory hunts me, usually every time this event comes. What is your unforgettable April Fool’s day experience?
