Ever since I have always been a horoscope lover. I am a fan of horoscopes. It’s because I have a belief that somehow these horoscopes can guide us in our day to day life. A lot of times, the horoscope for the day, would exactly match my present dilemma, thought, situation, or state of emotion. It’s really great, I couldn’t count how many times it did exactly fit my life. Perhaps, it also did the same in your life. Well, I’m not saying it’s really true, and for sure my husband would oppose to that and then he could give me a long lecture why I shouldn’t believe in any other things aside from God. Just to avoid any further conflict, I would just shut up as usual and then my belief wouldn’t change. haha! Well, it’s just that, I think there is nothing wrong with being interested to horoscopes. I opened my mail, and read the daily inspirational quote that i subscribed to. This quote made me think. Oh well, it has some sense and it’s worth my time. I love to compile certain thoughts and ideas on how to be successful, I love to read success and self-help books. I have read various books about self-development in the pursuit of success. Books such as Become a Better You by Joel Osteen, Nobody’s Perfect by Kirberger, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, Poor Dad, Rich Dad by Robert K. among with a lot of other good books. In our quest to the real price in life, we keep on searching for the answer and for the secret which will guide us towards the attainment of our purpose. But, this quote is a good reminder, that yes, we make try to apply the secrets to success quoted in different success books, seminars and lectures. But, if we try to look deeper into it. We will find that indeed, there is no secret to success, for success lies within YOU.

Angels are supernatural beings, who are said to be the “soldiers and servants” of God. They are said to be endowed with power. I remember, when I was young, I was often told that I have to be good so that God will send me an angel who will watch over me and will protect me from any danger. As soon as I grew up, the idea of angels turned into a mere fantasy. Reality set in, and the belief in mysteries and supernatural things and ideas soured. When I gave birth to a healthy, beautiful baby, on my birthday, I didn’t realize that I was soon about to see a real angel in my life. Her name is Roneca Bless Digamon Igcol, now 6 months of age, she was born on August 30, 1986. From the time she was born, she became the joy in our family. She is such a lovely baby, and she continues to be a source of blessing, bliss, and strength to both me, Ronel and my mom. My sister loves her so much as well. She may be a “cry baby” at times, but our love for her remains the same, and even grows stronger as time goes by. She now eats cerelac, the infant cereal popular here in our country. She loves the plain rice with milk. Every time, i look into her, I am reminded of God’s promise that he will give blessing and favor to those who loves Him. I don’t know what I did to deserve her. I am just to happy she came to my life. She makes me want to achieve more, to do more, and to be a good person. She inspires me to achieve my aspiration and dreams. She is my angel, and I wouldn’t trade her for anything. Now, I believe and therefore testifies that angels are for real. Sometimes they come in the forms of diapers, baby bottles and clothes. You just have to see and acknowledge it.

I’m a softdrink lover and oh, how I love to drink cola? Here in the Philippines, it is very obvious that Coca-cola reigns over pepsi. I came to think about this tagline, because I was surfing the internet when I came over a short ad saying join the Coke or Pesis survey. That survey which ask you to choose whether you like cocal cola much better than Pepsi? I thought to myself, why are they still doing those surveys wherein it is very much obvious that coca-cola reigns over pepsi. I asked myself why coca-cola is much better and more popular than the diminishing pepsi. I thought because coca-cola is more into advertising. I think if pepsi, will endorsed more, and put up more advertisement, perhaps their popularity will soar. It’s very rare that they do. Wherein, coca-cola always has a new advertisement. I think there is no need for such a survey asking which is better of the two, becuase the answer is very much obvious. For me, even I really loved and patronize coca-cola. And I know that for the years to come, it will still be the number 1 cola here in the Philippines. I came to stumble upon this site, it’s so funny. It is a website where the coke and pepsi lovers try to outdo each other and try to promote either coke or pepsi. Check this site guys http://www.cokeorpepsi.org/
The site was designed simply. On the upper left there is the coke banner in red and on the right side, as expected is the pepsi in blue. There is like a forum in the middle, where coke and pepsi lovers try to prove why either coke or pepsi is the best. There are even instances when they get mad at each other, it’s just like the battle between ABS-CBN and GMA. hehehe. Alright, so much for that, till my next post. Thanks to all!

As a call center agent, working in one of the booming call centers here in Cebu, I use my voice to earn some bucks for my family. My voice is so sensitive and I tend to have sore throat too easily once I get to drink something too cold or too sweet. So, I try my best to avoid drinking cold water or cold stuff/drinks such as ice cream. For months I have succeeded and it worked for me, because I didn’t have any cold, flu or even simple sore throats which usually leads to something worse. I included that in my daily reminders so that I won’t suffer consequences such as being absent from work, which I have totally avoided. I really tried my best not to be absent even for one single day from the time I started to work here in Calltek. It has been almost 5 months, and I still have a complete attendance with no lates. yehey! I deserve a treat. I made it! So, now I came to work too early. Wherein, I’m supposed to be in for night shift starting at 8 pm, I came in at 2 pm. Wow? Imagine? Why?I’m not here for an overtime or something. I’m here because I’m excited to blog and to add more to my entries. When I was at home, I started to figure out topics that I could write here on my blog. Few things came up to my mind. When I was at the office already, I thought I wanted to have some ice cream. And so, I went to mcdonalds and bought mcflurry. WHew! Hopefully, this wont damage or cause anything on my voice. I don’t want to have any absences. And I just wanted to have a break, after working so hard. Lol! I deserve to treat myself. Life has been so busy, and yes, sometimes I forget to enjoy small pleasures like this. But anyway, if you too experience the same, why don’t you have some break and have some mycflurry too!

I bet you’ve already heard of the saying Laughter is the best medicine. Well, I got my own line here, nature is the best therapy. Who agrees with me? Probably, I got the side of nature lovers out there. Huh? No, I believe most people believe in this. Looking back in my life, I remember how many times the beauty of nature healed me. I remembered how it helped me moved on and recuperate with any losses, whether its a friend or a loved one. I remember how many times I searched for consolation from the mountains, from the sky and from the blue waters during those times that I felt I was down and discouraged. I remembered how many times it revived me and uplifted my wounded soul. Yes, the beauty of nature is the best therapy of a heart that needs healing and peace. Are you in pain or heartache because someone left you behind? Why don’t you try to go to a place where you can be alone? where you can think about your present situation? The beach would be a very good place, to start with. Nothing beats the silence, with just the sound of the waves on the background….It will make you think clearly, which deemed to be impossible when you were letting yourself get controlled by your emotions. Why don’t you sit down, relax, and get in touch with your soul? with your whole being…while you release your feelings and start to think of the good that the situation can bring. Oftentimes, this life, keeps us so busy, that we no longer take the time to appreciate the beauty of the universe, the beauty of the things around us. Most of the time, we do a lot of things and forget to relax and to unwind, and then we ask why we are so drained, stressed out and confused with out lives? Well, you might have forgotten, nature is just around you. It’s just waiting. It’s been waiting for you all the time. You just have to make time for it…stop what you are doing, have a break, and embrace the warmth and joy that nature that give you. It’s all for FREE!
